Is SaltVault a staffing agency?
No. SaltVault doesn't employ or place anyone. Practices post the cover they need, verified professionals apply, and the practice chooses who to accept. From there, the two work together directly.
How are professionals verified?
For credentials that have an NPI (physicians, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, dentists and chiropractors), we check the NPI and legal name against the federal NPPES registry. Then SaltVault staff review the professional's state license, or CNA certification, and its expiry date. Only verified professionals can apply.
What happens when a license expires?
SaltVault tracks every license's expiry date and re-checks NPIs. When a license lapses, the verified badge comes off until a current one is sent and approved.
Who can see my details?
Anyone signed in can see a professional's public profile: name, credential, specialty, bio, education, certifications, available days and reviews. Email, phone number, NPI, license details and home ZIP code are never public. A practice gets your email and phone only after it accepts your application.
What kind of cover can I post?
Anything from a single shift to 120 days. Each working day can have up to three shifts, including overnight shifts, and you can leave days off in the middle of a long post.
Do I need a practice to post?
No. You can post as yourself, or create a practice so your whole team can post and manage applicants together.
Can several people manage our practice's posts?
Yes. Invite colleagues by email as owners or members. Everyone on the team can post, review applicants and message them for the practice.
How do I find work near me?
Search open posts by specialty, credential, ZIP code and distance. Save a search to get an alert when a new post matches, and keep your available days up to date so practices can find and invite you.
Which professions can use SaltVault?
Physicians (MD, DO), nurse practitioners, physician assistants, registered and licensed practical or vocational nurses (RN, LPN, LVN), certified nursing assistants (CNA), dentists (DDS, DMD) and chiropractors (DC), in every US state.
How do you keep my account safe?
Your data is encrypted in transit and at rest. You can turn on two-step sign-in with an authenticator app, and push notifications show message text only if you choose. You can delete your account at any time from Settings.
